At the beginning of his professional career, he held operational positions, and then took up the task of managing investment activities. The last decade was a period of fundamental analysis for the energy market and the macro environment of the energy sector, as well as the creation of development strategies and long-term investment plans of the company. Expert knowledge of energy and heating markets and sector legislation allows him to actively participate in the activities of industry organisations aimed at creating concepts for the development of modern domestic energy and the heating sector. Author and co-author of many reports prepared by the Forum Energii.

An expert in energy transition and regional development, with a strong interest in change management processes, behavioral sciences, and climate policy. She has served as the Director of the Silesian Regional Office in Brussels, Deputy Secretary General of EURACOAL, and a World Bank expert. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, European policy analysis, dialogue with decision-makers, and strategic planning. A political scientist from the University of Silesia, she specialized in global risk analysis and crisis management at Vesalius Liberal Arts College in Brussels.

In Forum Energii he supports analysis in the area of Heating Strategy. He gained experience in companies in the heating, power and renewable energy sectors. He dealt with a broadly defined business analysis, coordination of energy projects and construction of new branches of a heating company. Graduated from Gdańsk University of Technology with a degree in power engineering. He coordinated the work on the "Energiaimy" energy portal in the Gdańsk branch and participated in many conferences and industry trainings. Alumnus of the 8th edition of the „Akademia Energii” programme and winner of the "Kierunek Grupa GPEC" scholarship programme.

Manager with many years of experience in communication, particularly in companies in the energy sector (EDF, PGE, Veolia). She has created communication strategies covering the area of media relations, image and product communication, crisis communication management, organization of events and conferences, implementation of communication tools in dispersed and multicultural teams. MA in French philology at the Jagiellonian University, a postgraduate degree in PR at the Warsaw School of Economics and PhD in social sciences (management and quality studies) at the Warsaw School of Economics. She believes that the driving force of any organization is its organizational culture, its values, language and symbols, to which she has dedicated her academic work. She writes correspondences for Gazeta Wyborcza and Rzeczpospolita on cultural events and tourism in Italy. She is passionate about sports - she practices sport walking and participates in half marathons. At Forum, she is responsible for managing external and internal communications.

At Forum Energii, Lidia focuses on identifying transformation processes shared by various countries and regions, taking into account the evolving geopolitical dynamics as well as the specific characteristics of economic and energy systems. She builds partnerships and conducts analyses aimed at strengthening global cooperation on the energy transition and just transition.

She is an expert in climate and energy policy, with 19 years of experience at the international, European, and national levels. She began her career at KASHUE/KOBiZE, where she worked on the implementation of the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). She served as a lead expert for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and for the Polish Presidency during the COP14 and COP19 climate summits, specializing in global negotiations on targets and mitigation policies. At COP21 in Paris, she chaired part of the negotiations under the Paris Agreement as Chair of the SBSTA (Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice).

Lidia also gained UN experience as a member of the Polish Mission to the United Nations in New York during Poland’s first Presidency of the EU Council. During the second presidency, she served as Deputy Chair of the Presidency team on global climate negotiations, representing the Ministry of Climate and Environment. Before joining Forum Energii, she successfully led the development of international cooperation within the network of think tanks focused on energy transition (INETTT).

She holds a BA in English Philology from Adam Mickiewicz University and an MA in Law and English Philology from the University of Białystok. Her passion is singing, particularly in choirs.

An engineer passionate about the energy and heating transition in the context of climate change, energy security and social aspects. Before joining Forum Energii, he spent two years in Copenhagen. At the Technical University of Denmark he studied energy system analysis and modelled energy system transformation, and while working at Ørsted he gained experience in offshore wind farms and the implementation of innovative products. He has previously worked for EY and KAPE. He has a double master's degree from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and the Kiev University of Technology, where he developed new methods for the analysis of heating system modernisation. A graduate of the 9th edition of the Academy of Energy, organised by the Lesław A. Paga Foundation.

Engineer, analyst, consultant; passionate about energy, nature, rational thinking and knowledge. He has professional experience in the energy sector. He worked as an analyst, advisor and standard developer at OGP Gaz-System on strategic projects such as Baltic Pipe, FSRU terminal in Gdansk Bay or expansion of LNG Terminal in Swinoujscie. He provided engineering consulting services for energy projects at Danish consulting company Ramboll, was involved in product development on the Polish energy market at PGNiG Obrót Detaliczny, worked as an electrical engineer at ENCO, where he designed transformer stations, and as a power engineer - at ZRE Katowice, where in EC Siekierki he was responsible for repair and maintenance of the largest district heating turbine unit in Poland. During his studies at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, which he completed with honours, he gained experience in project and organisation management as the president of the Power Engineering Scientific Association.

Content and technical editor specialising in the broader energy industry. She is responsible for the high quality of all Energy Forum publications and coordinates publishing processes. She ensures that the texts written by Forum experts are accessible to readers and properly reflect the ideas and proposed solutions. She combines the work of authors, graphic designers, proofreaders and translators into a coherent whole. She graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań majoring in Polish language and literature. She gained professional experience as, among others, an editor of leading publications in the legal, educational and construction industries. She has worked with leading Polish energy think-tanks. Her professional motto is “on time, on topic and on point.” She needs good music to work.

At Forum Energii, she is the Office Coordinator. She ensures the smooth functioning of the organization's daily operations. She has extensive experience in administration and accounting, where she was responsible for the organization and administration of companies. She enjoys working with people and ensuring the comfort of both employees and guests. She holds a degree in General and Clinical Speech Therapy from the Medical University of Warsaw. In her free time, she is a mountain and rock climbing enthusiast and a devoted caretaker of her adopted pets - a cat named Ruby and a dog named Fasolka.

A social researcher and analyst, at the Energy Forum she is responsible for analysis in the area of the social aspect of the energy transition. She gained analytical experience in the non-governmental sector and public administration. At the Institute for Structural Research, she conducted research and co-authored studies on just energy transition, including energy poverty and labor market transitions. Over the years, she has been involved with the third sector as a member of the editorial board of Kontakt Magazine, and has also worked with the Heinrich Boell Foundation and the Center for Civic Education. She graduated in sociology and economics from the University of Warsaw.

At Forum Energii, Katarzyna works on issues related to equitable transformation of post-mining regions. Active activist for the inclusion and strengthening of the role of youth in climate policy. Initiator and chair of the Youth Climate Council at the IFC, coordinator of the young generation processes at the UNFCCC and advisor to DG CLIMA on youth projects of the European Climate Pact. Prior to that, she was the Chair of the Youth Council at WUF11, coordinating youth participation in the World Urban Forum.

Previously, she worked for the European Commission on international cooperation in the field of sustainable urban development. She also gained experience in the European Parliament and the British House of Commons. She also worked as a research assistant at the Columbia Climate School.

She is a member of the advisory boards of JPI Climate and UN-Habitat. She is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University and Columbia University in New York.

At Forum Energii she is responsible for organizing events, coordinating the participation of experts in external events, cooperation of the Forum within The International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks (INETT), patronages, website maintenance. She is a secretary of the Expert Council on Energy Security and Climate. Jadwiga is an expert in organizig national and international events, of which she has organized over 700. She gained most of her experience working at the Polish Institute of International Affairs and the Polish Confederation Lewiatan. She co-organized the Warsaw Summit Experts' Forum conference during NATO Member States Summit in 2016 in Warsaw, the Wrocław Global Forum in Wrocław, the PISM Strategic Debate in Jurata and co-created the European Forum for New Ideas for five years and other events on business, legal issues, HR and taxes. A graduate of the University of Wrocław in the field of Scientific information and library science with a specialization in book art and postgraduate studies in PR and strategic communication in companies at the Warsaw School of Economics. In her spare time, she reads good fiction and non-fiction, does yoga, implements zero waste at home and is passionate about vintage.

Karolina Grotowska is a Senior Analyst in the European Programme at Forum Energii. Her work focuses on energy transition financing and the EU budget, including EU financial instruments, the architecture of the Multiannual Financial Framework, and the role of public policy in mobilising investment for decarbonisation. She analyses financial flows and investment barriers and develops policy recommendations to better align public financial tools with the objectives of the energy transition. 

She began her career as a sustainable finance analyst at an international asset management firm, working on the integration of ESG factors into investment processes and assessing portfolio alignment with net-zero objectives. She later joined the research team at Zero Carbon Analytics, where she focused on the analysis of energy transition financing at the EU level, as well as the global architecture of climate finance. 

Engineer with professional experience in the energy sector and academia. At Forum Energy he works on issues related to the transformation of the heating industry. He specializes in thermodynamics, optimization, data analysis of industrial systems, market research and feasibility studies. In his career so far, he has progressed from physical work in the oil service at the Rybnik Power Plant, through work as an analyst in the lubricants laboratory, participation in research and development and construction of prototypes of ORC systems for the production of electricity from industrial waste heat - to the defense of his implementation doctorate. He is a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.

At Forum Energii, she is responsible for external communication and building relationships with the media. She manages Forum Energii's social media profiles. Previously, for over two years, she worked at the public relations agency Burson, where as a member of the Energy & Industry team, she supported communication for clients in the energy sector. Her duties included advising, building and maintaining relationships with key partners, implementing initiatives, and developing materials for external communication. She also created content for the website and social media channels.

A graduate of the XIII Energy Leaders Academy. During the final gala, the team she was a part of won first place for their proposal to decarbonize Polish energy companies. She holds degrees in management and social communication and public relations from the University of Warsaw.

Maja Korczyńska is a Junior Specialist for Cities within the People, Cities, Regions program.

She is a social researcher and analyst. Maja graduated with distinction from the University of Warsaw with a master’s degree in Digital Sociology. She also holds a degree in Urban Studies. As part of her academic work, she conducted research projects on social participation, cooperation between NGOs and local governments, as well as analyses of revitalized urban spaces.

She gained professional experience in a market research agency, working on projects for both the private sector and public administration, including initiatives focused on improving air quality. She also worked as a researcher in a University of Warsaw project funded by the National Science Centre (NCN).

An engineer involved in the transformation of the heating and power sectors, with focus on increasing the share of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy security. At Forum Energii, she works as an analyst in the Industry Program.

She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. During her studies, she was active member of the Power Engineering Academic Study Group, with which she won first place in the nationwide „EKOinnowatorzy” competition.

Her first professional experience was gained at the Institute for Renewable Energy, where she participated in projects related to the implementation of renewable energy through the analysis, modeling, and optimization of energy systems. She was involved in heating plant modernization projects, including the "Ciepłownia Przyszłości". She also participated in projects developing technical and economic concepts for photovoltaic power plants and wind-solar hybrid systems with energy storage.

She also worked in engineering consulting at the Danish consulting firm Ramboll, where she developed climate neutrality plans for heating plants and analyzed modernization options for industrial installations.

Motivated to play his part in Poland's energy transition. At Forum Energii he works as an analyst in the Power Programme. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology with a Master's degree in Power Engineering. During his studies, he was an active member of the Board of the Scientific Circle of Power Engineers at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he participated in technical and content projects and co-organized events such as the National Conference of Young Power Engineers. He won the first prize in the 1st edition of the "Trends and Development Visions of Offshore Wind Power Plants" competition, after which he continued to gain experience in this field working for one of the leading offshore developers - Ocean Winds.

At Forum Energii, he works as an analyst in the Power Sector programme. He is responsible for preparing analyses related to the modernisation of the power system and the development of renewable energy sources. He gained experience at the Danish company Energy Machines ApS, where he worked on projects to improve energy efficiency and implement heat pump systems using geothermal boreholes. Earlier, he was active at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where he coordinated financial and organisational matters and led a hydrogen vehicle project within the student scientific association Płomień. He holds a Master’s degree in Power Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He participated in the European Cryogenic Course in Germany and Norway, focused on low-temperature technologies and cryogenics, as well as the Unite Research School in France, dedicated to sustainable electronics and innovation in energy systems.

At Forum Energii, he focuses on analysing the prospects for the modernization of Ukraine’s energy sector, energy market reforms in Ukraine, and its integration with the EU, as well as cooperation with Ukrainian energy experts and industry organisations.

Previously, he worked at the Polish Development Bank in the Department of Economic and Geopolitical Risk Analysis, conducting research on cross-border energy cooperation between Poland and Ukraine, the development of the biomethane sector in Ukraine, and investment opportunities in Ukraine's energy and critical raw materials sectors.

He also gained experience at the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the Energy Community, supporting the Deputy Minister for European Integration’s team on the harmonisation of Ukrainian energy legislation with EU standards, as well as decarbonisation and security of supply.
